A brand new release of WhoNews Lite for Android is now available. This release supports far more devices (phones, tablets) plus it uses Chrome to display pages allowing far easier sharing of links. The Lite version is free to download but is Ad-based.
It also adds a new feed which monitors all the official BBC accounts on Twitter, Facebook and websites.

It fixes an issue converting HD video captured outsie of EyeStalk and adds a feedback button to the help screen.
The latest version provides 7 photo/video effects recreating a Dalek’s point of view spanning 50 years of Doctor Who. From 60’s through to the latest effect seen in Asylum of the Daleks, users can take photos, create movies or apply effects to their existing pictures.
